The Lights of London

Before we left for Europe, I met the nicest woman, Janette, who happened to work near Heathrow Airport and was in Chicago for business. Her advice? Go see Big Ben and Parliament at night. And when a local gives advice, you listen. We touched down in London at 9pm and I immediately dragged my husband out to see Big Ben. We had less than 24 hours in London and only 1 night to see this. I have to say Janette's advice did not disappoint. London at night is gorgeous and a completely different world from daytime London. It's bustling with a whole different tourist crowd - photographers. You can't walk down the street around these iconic buildings without tripping over a tripod. If you have the chance, try exploring the London landmarks at night. Janette was right. It's a must see. Thanks for the advice, Janette!
